Shosenkyo Gorge, Kofu, Japan

Shosenkyo Gorge is located in Kofu City, the capital city of Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan. This gorge is considered as the Japan's most beautiful gorge. It takes about 30 minutes by bus from Kofu Station to Shosenkyo Gorge

In the time when we visited the Shonsekyo Gorge, we decided to go there by a rent car. Previously we planed to go there by bus, but it took time for waiting the bus. Because that time was almost 2.00 pm, we was afraid that we will miss the returning bus.

The trip was begin from Kofu Station to reach seikanbashi. From that place, we were then walking down to Sengataki waterfall and Ishimon (literally means stone gate). From the Ishimon area, we can clearly saw the Kakuenpo (the steep mountain of kakuen). Due to  it was then getting dark, hence we decided to go back to the Seikan bashi and enjoying the unique soup in the Kofu city that is called as hoto pasta.

That time, we should be able to go to the Arakawa Dome and Otaki waterfall, because it is near to Shonsekyo Gorge. Unfortunately, we don not have much time to visit that places.
